Scope and legal boundary
These terms govern access to app-firefox.net, including editorial content, browser comparisons, software information, external links and download referrals. app-firefox.net is independent and is not Mozilla Foundation, Mozilla Corporation or an official Firefox service.
Firefox executable software is governed by Mozilla’s Firefox Terms of Use. Firefox source code is available under open-source licenses, including the Mozilla Public License, and Mozilla trademark rights are governed separately.

Site access and acceptable use
Public content may be accessed for lawful research, product comparison, browser education and ordinary navigation. Automated access must not interfere with availability, security or normal use.
Prohibited conduct includes unauthorized access attempts, security bypasses, abusive scraping, malicious automation, malware distribution, impersonation, phishing, fraud or activity that violates applicable law or third-party rights.
External links, downloads and Mozilla Accounts
Links may lead to Mozilla, Firefox download services, application stores or other third-party services. Downloads, installations, account sign-in, purchases and other activity after leaving app-firefox.net are governed by the relevant third party.
app-firefox.net does not operate Mozilla Accounts or Firefox Sync. Mozilla Accounts and account-connected Mozilla services are governed by Mozilla Accounts Terms of Service and applicable privacy notices.
User responsibilities
Users are responsible for lawful use of app-firefox.net and for decisions made after following external links or downloading software.
- Follow applicable law and the terms of third-party websites, app stores and software providers.
- Do not impersonate Mozilla, Firefox or app-firefox.net, or use related branding for phishing, fraud or misleading affiliation.
- Verify software source, permissions, system requirements and security prompts before installation.
- Do not interfere with servers, bypass security controls, distribute malware or use content in ways that infringe third-party rights.
Intellectual property, open source and trademarks
Firefox, Mozilla, related logos and other Mozilla brand assets belong to their respective rights holders. References to those names identify products and services and do not create affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement.
Mozilla distinguishes Firefox executable software from Firefox source code. Source code is released under applicable open-source licenses, including MPL 2.0, while trademark use is subject to Mozilla Trademark Guidelines and distribution rules.
Original app-firefox.net text, organization and other site-created material remain protected by applicable copyright rules unless stated otherwise. Reasonable citation and linking are permitted, but copying or presenting the material in a way that falsely implies Mozilla authorship or endorsement is not.
Disclaimers and liability boundary
Browser versions, system requirements, download destinations, Mozilla services, application-store availability and third-party integrations change over time. Accuracy and availability are not guaranteed for every device, region, version or use case.
External links do not transfer control or responsibility for third-party software or services to app-firefox.net. Installation, Mozilla Account use, Sync, extensions and third-party services remain subject to the applicable provider’s terms.
Mozilla’s Firefox Terms contain separate provisions for executable software, optional services, warranties, liability and governing law. Those provisions are Mozilla’s terms and are not replaced by app-firefox.net rules.
Updates and Mozilla legal terms
app-firefox.net terms may change when site functionality, external services, operating practices or applicable requirements change. The revision date identifies the current version.
